Agile Coach

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Agile and Extreme Programming Practices Consultant on large initiatives. The successful candidate will work out synergies with the various programs to coach ongoing SAFe Agile or Kanban programs, provide advice and expertise to leadership teams, help mentor and train internal coaches and help further develop the practice. The coach needs to keep individuals on track with respect to the development paradigm:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand, in depth, the application of Extreme Programming to the project.
• Launch and coach Agile projects and SAFe ARTs.
• Help coach ongoing SAFe programs by providing coaching to multiple teams across the ART.
• Provide advice and expertise to leadership teams.
• Help mentor and train internal coaches
• Help further develop Agile practice.
• Identify the Extreme Programming practices that help in case of any problem.
• When a significant problem is foreseen and make the team also see the problem.
• Bring an outside perspective to help a team see themselves more clearly.
• The coach will help balance the needs of delivering the project while improving the use of the practices.
• The coach must possess people skills and be effective in influencing the actions of the teams.
• Help mentor and train internal coaches

Responsibilities:

• Coach existing Agile / SAFe programs.
• Help drive our continuous improvement cycle across our existing SAFe programs.
• Launch new SAFe and single-team Agile initiatives.
• Comply with existing Agile standards, good practices and conventions in this area.
• Work with existing Agile Coaches cooperation with BI Transition to Agile team and ECO teams.
• Help grow our internal coaching workbench.
• Collaborate on the further development of our Agile practice.
• Help drive our continuous improvement cycle across existing programs.
• Comply with existing Travelers standards, good practices and conventions in this area.
• Help grow our internal coaching workbench.
• Collaborate on the further development of our XP practice.
